Ensure maximum security for your smartphones

  • Use your phone's security lock code, pattern ,if it has one.
You can also enable face unlock feature that is available in many smartphones. Sub features include eye blink detection that unlocks your device when you blink your eyes.
Voice unlock has also emerged, but these are not that accurate when it comes to security.
 Finger print unlock is one of the most secure means but it is available only on limited devices like i phone 5s



  • Install Anti-virus Software.
    Antivirus software in phones are not only designed for the purpose of scanning apps and data. It is also meant for maintaining security on your device.Anti virus applications provide an anti theft facility. This facility is however applicable for only pro versions in almost every anti virus applications. AVG gives you a 30 days trial to use its pro features. Other features include capturing the photo using the front cam and sending the captured image to your email.   •  GSM Phones have a unique IMEI number. Key in *#06# to find yours, record it, and keep it safe.
    An IMEI number is very much useful for tracking the device location. 
  • Enable Device administration on android devices
    Device administration gives the right to erase, locate , lock and so on to certain applications. This is helpful when you lost the device.
    You can use Find my phone feature in windows phones for this purpose.
